I am Aisha Qiu, a third-year student in Information Technology and Management at Tzu Chi University and an international student from Indonesia. With a multicultural background, I bring strong adaptability, cross-cultural communication skills, and a global perspective to my academic and professional work.

I have developed practical experience in problem-solving, teamwork, and service operations through early involvement in small business environments. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage responsibilities independently, and deliver consistent results. My academic focus centers on applying technology to real-world solutions, with particular interests in automation, data-driven systems, and software development.

Technical Milestones

During my university years, I actively apply what I learn to practical projects. I currently work at Tzu Chi University's Global Affairs Office managing website development and maintenance, handling contact forms, multilingual support, SEO optimization, and custom frontend design. Through image compression and cache optimization, I successfully improved website loading speed by 20-40%.

Additionally, I served as a research assistant, using Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data processing and analysis, responsible for data cleaning, visualization, and research report writing. I also have foundational machine learning skills (Scikit-learn).

For personal projects, I developed an "Emotion Recognition System" and a "Medication Detection System," combining computer vision techniques (YOLO and MediaPipe) for real-time recognition. I design multi-condition logic to improve accuracy and am skilled at leveraging AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to enhance development and problem-solving.

在大學期間，我積極將所學應用於實務。目前於慈濟大學全球事務處擔任網站建置與管理，負責包含聯絡表單、多語言切換、SEO 優化及前端客製化設計。我透過圖片壓縮與快取設定，成功將網站載入速度提升約 20% 至 40%。

此外，我曾擔任研究助理，使用 Python (Pandas, NumPy) 進行資料處理與分析，負責資料清理與視覺化，並協助撰寫研究報告。我也具備基礎機器學習能力 (Scikit-learn)。

Global Vision

Regarding languages, my native language is Indonesian, English at C1 proficiency level, and Chinese at approximately B1 level. Despite initial challenges in a Chinese-taught environment, I have continuously overcome language barriers and demonstrated strong adaptability.

I chose Tzu Chi University because its emphasis on education combined with humanitarian values aligns perfectly with my personal values.

Looking ahead, I aspire to develop in the information technology field, leveraging my technical depth and cross-cultural communication skills to create impact in international and Southeast Asian markets, becoming a globally competitive professional.
